Clickjacking Attack Hits Facebook

Facebook users need to be careful about clicking links in status updates that say "OMG This GUY Went A Little To Far WITH His Revenge On His EX Girlfriend." It's a bait technique for a clickjacking attack that is making its way through thousands of profiles. Clickjacking occurs when someone clicks on a link which redicts them to a mechanism designed to register mouse clicks and spam your contacts. Here is what this one looks like:

Phishing Scam Attempts to Replicate BBB Complaint Report

Several businesses across the US – including law firms, advertising agencies and architecture firms – have reported receiving a suspicious e-mail from the address seatac@bbb.org with the subject line “BBB Complaint Case #” followed by a nine-digit number. Both BBB Accredited and non-Accredited businesses have been targeted.

E-Mail Scam Involving American Troops in Iraq Hits Inboxes

Most people are familiar with the "Nigerian scam" where a supposed member of the royal family wants to give you millions of dollars after you first wire some money their way. Well now it looks like scammers are using the same tactics to pull at the heartstrings of Americans who will support the troops in Iraq.
